Campus Location
Pondicherry is
located 170 Kms south of Chennai.
It takes 3-4 hrs to reach Pondicherry from Chennai by bus. The bus travels via
Tambaram, Chingleput & Dindivanam. Pondicherry can also be reached from
Chennai by taking buses plying by East Coast Road (ECR) that comes via
Mahabalipuram.
Rajiv
Gandhi College of Veterinary & Animal Sciences is situated on the
Pondicherry - Vazhudavur - Thirukkanoor road ie., approximately 8 kms. from the
Pondicherry main bus stand. Buses from Pondicherry bus stand to Thirukkanoor go
via the College campus. Autos & Tempo services are also available from
outside the Pondicherry bus stand.

B, located
1/2 km away from Campus A contains
the Gymnasium Hall (housing the Department of Physical Education) and the staff
residential buildings.
Campus C, located 2 kms away from Campus A in a place called Mettupalayam houses the Teaching Veterinary Hospital. The Departments of Veterinary Clinical Medicine, Animal Reproduction Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Veterinary Surgery & Radiology, Veterinary Epidemiology & Preventive medicine and the wards are located in the Teaching Veterinary Hospital.
