RECRUITMENT OF FACULTY POSTS

Applications in the prescribed form are invited for the following faculty positions at this college.

1. ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR

            1) Veterinary Physiology                                         - One

            2) Animal Genetics & Breeding                                - One

            3) Livestock Products Technology                           - One (tenure is only for two years)

Scale of Pay & Allowance Rs. 12000-420-18300 (pre-revised) plus other allowances admissible as per rules 
Qualification & Experience

(i) Ph.D. Degree in the subject concerned.

(ii) 5 years experience in Teaching/Research/Extension of which 2 years should be in the cadre of Assistant Professor  in the concerned subject.

(iii) Registration with the State/Central Veterinary Council.
Age Below 45 years as on the last date for receipt of application.

 

2. ASSISTANT PROFESSOR

     1) Livestock Products Technology (Reserved for OBC)                           - One    

Scale of Pay & Allowance Rs. 8000-275-13500 (pre-revised) plus other allowances admissible as per rules 
Qualification & Experience

(i) M.V.Sc. Degree in the subject concerned with NET qualification.

(ii) Registration with the State/Central Veterinary Council.
Age Below 35 years as on the last date for receipt of application.

Note:   For all the posts, a recognised Veterinary qualification included in the first schedule or second schedule of the Veterinary Council of India Act, 1984 and registration with State Veterinary Council or Veterinary Council of India is necessary. NPA as admissible will be paid to the appointed candidates possessing basic veterinary qualification. Prescribed application for the post with instructions to candidates can be obtained from the college website at www.ragacovas.com The last date for receiving the filled in application is 31.10.2009 at 4.00 P.M. (The applications in respect of candidates residing in the Andaman & Nicobar, Lakshadeep, Minicoy islands, J&K, North Eastern Regions of India and other remote localities will be accepted till 15.11.2009).
